MISSION STATEMENT

Team Select is a non-profit Amateur Athletic Union girl’s basketball team, dedicated to training and developing girls between the ages of 10 and 17 through organized sports.

The organization provides an adult supervised environment for student athletes to nurture their basketball skills, foster academic excellence and develop socially responsible citizens. Because Team Select is totally committed to the fundamentals of basketball, we consider our program ideal preparation for those athletes that aspire to excel at the next level.

to many quality lessons of life are essential to the growth of all young players, at Team Select this is our mission.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES

Develop basketball skills and techniques,
Form competitive teams,
Foster teamwork and sportsmanship among the members,
Encourage excellence in

academics and athletics,

Provide a nurturing environment and

a safe place to participate in team activities,

Participate in AAU sanctioned and other competitive athletic events,
Building winners

with good character on and off

basketball court.
